F&F Co., Ltd. (Korean: 주식회사 에프앤에프) is a South Korean fashion and lifestyle company headquartered in Seoul. The company designs, manufactures, and sells apparel and accessories mainly through brand licensing and owned brands. It is listed on the Korea Exchange under the ticker symbol 383220.
History
[edit]F&F was founded in 1992 by Kim Chang-soo.[1][2] The company initially focused on importing and distributing foreign fashion brands in the South Korean market, including Benetton and Sisley.[3]
In 1997, F&F secured licensing rights for Major League Baseball (MLB) apparel in South Korea. The brand expanded from hats into clothing, footwear, and accessories and later grew significantly in China and other Asian markets. In 2012, the company launched the outdoor lifestyle brand Discovery Expedition under license from Warner Bros. Discovery.[4]
In 2021, the fashion business was spun off as a separately listed company named F&F Co., Ltd., while the parent company was reorganized as F&F Holdings.[5]
Brands and operations
[edit]F&F primary brands include:
- MLB and MLB Kids – streetwear and casual apparel.[6][7]
- Discovery Expedition – outdoor and lifestyle clothing.[8][9][10]
- Duvetica – Italian premium outerwear (owned).[11][12]
- Sergio Tacchini – tennis and sportswear (owned).[13][14]
- Banila Co – cosmetics (related brand).
The company operates offline retail stores and online channels in South Korea, China, and other Asian markets. MLB and Discovery Expedition have historically accounted for the large majority of its revenue.
Entertainment activities
[edit]In November 2022, F&F established a subsidiary called F&F Entertainment. The subsidiary co-produced the SBS survival audition program Universe Ticket, which resulted in the debut of the girl group UNIS in March 2024. F&F Entertainment has also been involved in other talent management and content projects.[15][16][17]
Investment in TaylorMade
[edit]In 2021, F&F participated as a major strategic investor in the acquisition of the American golf equipment company TaylorMade. In July 2025, F&F announced that it had hired Goldman Sachs as a financial advisor regarding a potential acquisition of TaylorMade.[18] The company stated that it held contractual rights, including consent rights and a right of first refusal, related to any sale of TaylorMade, and indicated it was prepared to take legal measures if those rights were disregarded.[19][20]
Financial performance
[edit]In the full year 2025, F&F reported consolidated revenue of ₩1.93 trillion, operating profit of ₩468.5 billion, and net income of ₩402.7 billion.[21]
