Should the first sentence describe Guardiola as a Spanish football manager and former player from Catalonia ("Spain first") or a Catalan football manager and former player from Spain ("Catalan first")?

Background:

• This is a perennial debate for which descriptive guidance has been compiled in the form of WP:CATLEDE#Footballers. This is not instructive.
• The Catalan first option has had precedence at this article with a note asking Please do not change without discussing on talk page and reviewing RfC on Spanish regional identities; Paul Vaurie has changed this, most recently in June after ignoring attempt to discuss with them in January.
