As a contributor to New Zealand articles, you may like to connect with other Kiwi Wikipedians through the New Zealand Wikipedians' notice board and take a look at the activities in WikiProject New Zealand and associated sub-projects.
Wikimedia Aotearoa New Zealand (WANZ), is recognised by the Wikimedia Foundation as the local chapter. WANZ receives funding from the Foundation and provides grants to support the movement in New Zealand. It organises editor training workshops, meetups, conferences and other events. Usage
To use this template for welcoming users who have contributed to New Zealand articles, add {{subst:welcome-nz}} ~~~~ to the user's talk page. You must substitute the template for it to work.

Twinkle

You can use this welcome via Twinkle. Open the Twinkle preferences (for example via the Config menu) and under the Welcome user
header, find the line Custom welcome templates to display:
and click Edit items. You can then add this welcome template as per the image.
