Resource Request

How to use this page

[edit]

Making a request

[edit]

Before asking volunteers to look for your source, try finding it yourself with the tools at your disposal. This includes scanning the project's shared resources list before placing a request.

In particular, eligible editors can use the Wikipedia Library, which gives access to content provided by numerous academic publishers.

Fixing references and common medical problems!
Warning: for legal reasons, we must note that the Resource Exchange cannot fix any medical problems. But it can fix references.
  • Though we would prefer you to ask for a specific journal, article or work, we will accept open-ended questions. You can ask for all kinds of sources here, either on this page or by writing directly to an active user.
  • Provide as much detail as possible: a full citation with author, title, publisher, date and identifiers like DOI, ISBN, ISSN, PMID, OCLC, etc. Indicate which article you need this for.
  • Due to copyright restrictions, we cannot send you full book/thesis copies. Narrow down your request to a specific chapter or page(s).
  • Since we cannot post original copyrighted material online, we will most likely send it by email. Make sure you have specified an email address in your preferences before asking.
  • Add the {{Resolved}} template when your request is completed.
  • Filled requests are archived. Requests unfilled after three months will also be archived.

What to try next

[edit]

If you are unable to obtain what you need here, you may be able to get it via the WMF resource support pilot.

Fulfilling a request

[edit]
  • Anyone may offer advice and fulfill requests, in full or in part. When fulfilling a part of a request, tell others which one so that they don't have to do the same work.
  • Notify (mention) the requester using {{u|REQUESTER_USERNAME}}.
  • You can:

Contacting editors directly

Shared sources: Editors post sources they are willing to share access to at the shared resources page.

@IOHANNVSVERVS Have you received all pages? Can this be marked as resolved? YuniToumei (talk) 12:42, 20 May 2026 (UTC)reply

No I haven't, @YuniToumei. I would still very much like to if possible. A video of someone flipping through the pages would work just as well and might be easier than scanning every page btw @Usernameunique, not sure if that's an option. Thank you both. IOHANNVSVERVS (talk) 14:35, 20 May 2026 (UTC)reply

A belated thank you for staying on this. IOHANNVSVERVS (talk) 03:16, 23 June 2026 (UTC)reply
No problem, IOHANNVSVERVS. I honestly don't know why this one is proving so difficult; I've sent in many requests which have been ignored, and so keep sending them in. My best guess is that the library is just particularly sensitive about this one given how short it is, meaning that the fair-use threshold is calculated as quite low. --Usernameunique (talk) 00:59, 27 June 2026 (UTC)reply
IOHANNVSVERVS, sent pages 63 to 69. Will try to get page 62 (which seems to be missing) along with the next set. --Usernameunique (talk) 23:55, 30 July 2026 (UTC)reply

@Usernameunique sorry😥, I need Chapter 2. I had asked for Chapter 1 by mistake. Mr.Lazy Guy (talk) 02:16, 30 September 2026 (UTC)reply
Be4ore27, do you mean that you need the chapter entitled "Social Ecology and the Lepchas: Socio-Economic and Demographic Profile"? The book calls that chapter 3, and the chapter that I sent to you chapter 2. But, the book calls the introduction chapter 1, which is unusual (and may have led to the confusion). --Usernameunique (talk) 03:04, 30 September 2026 (UTC)reply

Greetings, has someone access to this book? There should be a chapter mentioning Aucanquilcha and Ollagüe. For Aucanquilcha and Ollagüe

Thanks, Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 16:35, 3 June 2026 (UTC)reply

@Jo-Jo Eumerus I got a PDF for a 2020 edition. There are 6 chapters in Segunda Parte. Arqueología e historia en Ollagüe, 'Part Two. Archaeology and History in Ollagüe' (pp. 199-390). Aucanquilcha is mentioned 46 times throughout the book. Is this still actual? — EmoryNB (they/them) talk contribs 14:52, 16 August 2026 (UTC)reply

Berita Harian (Malaysia) and Berita Harian (Singapore) Articles

[edit]

I'm creating a new article for Malaysian singer Siti Nurhaliza for her Chinese duet song, "Be Like Water". In the history section, I'm trying to confirm if these two Chinese songs (月亮代表我的心 ("The Moon Represents My Heart") and 征服 ("Conquer")) were recorded by Siti Nurhaliza back in 2004 for her mini album. I can find the keywords on the website, but I'm not clear about the context in which the keywords are being used in the article, as she also performed both songs during a show in Taiwan in 2004.

Algorithmic amplification

[edit]
  • Requesting the earliest recorded use of the phrase "algorithmic amplification". I have checked the OED and it does not appear to have an exact entry for the phrase. Ordinary web searches have not returned a solid earliest-use result. An OED entry giving a first-attestation date and quotation would be ideal if I have missed one. Failing that, the earliest datable usages anyone can find in dictionaries, academic databases, legal or policy databases, historical news corpora, or web archives would let me assess whether a short note on the term's origin can be added.

For Algorithmic amplification Thanks, Metalicat (talk) 21:45, 8 July 2026 (UTC)reply

Metalicat, a quick search found it in this 1976 thesis, although I'm not sure if it's being used in the same context. In what time period would you expect it to have begun being used? --Usernameunique (talk) 19:30, 24 September 2026 (UTC)reply

Looking for help with Italian→English translation

[edit]

I took Italian several years ago, but I am having some trouble following the dialogue in this video, and Google Translate is difficult with the background music and noise. Would someone be able to help with this video: https://archivio.telebelluno.it/clip/370/pattinaggio-artistico-a-feltre-interviste-a-sabine-contini-beatrice-gelmini-marta-andreella-robe

  • Women's event: It sounds like Sabine Contini was the winner, Beatrice Gelmini the runner-up, and Marta Andreella the fourth-place finisher. Any word on the third-place finisher? It would appear the women's event finished before this broadcast began.
  • Men's event: It sounds like Gilberto Viadana was the winner. Any word on the second- or third-place finishers? Since the men competed during the broadcast, I have to imagine the identities of the runners-up were announced.
  • Pairs: There was only one team – Anna Tabacchi & Massimo Salvadè – since the event was going on in real time and they were followed immediately by the dancers.
  • Ice dance: It sounds like Anna Croci & Luca Mantovani were the winners. Any word on the second- and third-place results? I have to imagine it was mentioned in there somewhere since the ice dance event was happening in real time.

  • 228: 8–21 June 1994
  • 240: 23 November 1994 – 6 December 1994
  • 243: 4–17 January 1995

Working on Draft:David H. Holtzman (former CTO of Network Solutions). Could someone with ProQuest or newspaper archive access pull the following?

  1. The Washington Post, "New at the Top: David Holtzman", c. June 6, 1999 (appointments column, his hiring as Network Solutions CTO)
  2. The Washington Post, Shannon Henry, "Three Potential Survivors", February 21, 2001 (covers his startup Opion)
  3. The Washington Post, "Tech Magic: Start-Ups Quietly Disappear", October 24, 2001 (covers Opion's closure)

  5. Any trade reviews of his book Privacy Lost (Jossey-Bass, 2006) in Publishers Weekly, Library Journal, Kirkus, or Choice

Chris Hansen interview with Anthony Cumia

[edit]

For Chris Hansen

The article cites his birthday as September 13th, 1959, referencing this interview. IMDb and some other sources (like the Dutch Wikipedia) cite his birthday instead as March 26th, 1959, making it contested. I could not find a link to that interview but supposedly it should be on COMPOUND CENSORED (paywalled). The only open-access piece that is close by date is this "viral"(?) YouTube video and this... other? August 2015 interview. The latter does not mention Hansen's birthday at all.

I just need to know if it mentions Hansen's birthday. If you don't want to watch the thing for me, just send me the full video.

@1brianm7: Google Translate says the first and third are journals, not specific articles (and the second is a book). Abstracts for articles in the most recent nine volumes of the first journal are available here. Does that help you narrow down your request any? --Worldbruce (talk) 17:25, 12 September 2026 (UTC)reply
Thanks, from looking at the copy I made of the NDL database, it appears that they have not organized it great. The first one probably has this full bibliographic citation, which I was able to glean from elsewhere.
Ueda, Kazuo (1970). "Idisshugo gairyaku" [Yiddish in Brief]. Yudaya isuraeru kenkyuu [Study of Judaism and Israel] (7). Tokyo: 26–31
(Published after February 1970, probably) The second one is probably a different person, but could be the right one. I have no clue when the third one was published specifically, it looks like the NDL sorts it entirely by when the first issue is published, but I can unhelpfully date it from 1986 to 2012. I have a request at WP:RESUP that will hopefully give me fuller bibliographic info. 1brianm7 (talk) 05:09, 13 September 2026 (UTC)reply

@~2026-45407-10 You can use an email account as far as I know to create an Internet Archive account to "borrow" a book for a few hours. But if they are unavailable even after you create an account and they're only for print-disabled access, I can give screenshots of selected pages if you provide page numbers. RFNirmala (talk) 08:24, 21 August 2026 (UTC)reply
@RFNirmala Yeah, I trying to do it, but it (button) just "spins" forever after I click Sign-in (tried twice already each time from the scratch). So it looks like I can't even be registered there...
If you have an access, what I need there (pages) is everything about "Specifications for military aircraft", i.e. it's prehistory (effect of WWI, reason why it was proposed etc.), and i.e. why it become obsolete and was redesignated on 1924 (i.e. 'cause McCook Field closure i.e. or extensive crew losses because of too many different types of or... why?) and... if it's available, any information (i.e. requirements or development/test history) about special type planes, except messenger and alert (it would be also good, as one as additional info about military ones but not most neccesary as there's a couple of sources already about it).
I mean, if you are already registered there and can search through the text. SO... If there's such pages (I bet it will be somewhere on the start of the book) - I need it (with both text and page numbers).
And, for sure these links (all to archive) can help as good enough info to be extracted from.
Thank you in advance if it's available to be extracted some way for me to read and effectively use it while improving the article. ~2026-45704-23 (talk) 13:14, 21 August 2026 (UTC)reply

English-language news article with nationality breakdown of the passengers and/or crew of Cathay Pacific Flight 700Z

[edit]

For Cathay Pacific Flight 700Z

Hi! I notice the Chinese Wikipedia edition of the article has a full nationality breakdown but cites a Chinese article. I'm looking for an English-language article (possibly from the South China Morning Post, the Bangkok Post, or another newspaper) that gives a full nationality breakdown of the passengers and crew.

I searched Newspapers.com for coverage; that coverage seems to focus on American, British, and/or Australian passengers and/or crew. I would like to find a source in English that gives a full nationality breakdown.

Thanks, WhisperToMe (talk) 15:41, 28 August 2026 (UTC)reply

  • Update: I found an early nationality count from an Australian newspaper: "82 down in second air tragedy". The Age. Melbourne. 1972-06-16. pp. 1, 4 – via Newspapers.com.

It seems to be different from what I saw on ZHwiki (which is cited to a Chinese source). I'll modify the request and ask for articles from South China Morning Post and the Bangkok Post (two English language publications not easily accessible with the Wikipedia Library) which give nationality breakdowns, if that's ok. Also, newer coverage/any clarifying coverage would be good. WhisperToMe (talk) 22:52, 28 August 2026 (UTC)reply

Your link points to Typhoon Ora, not Typhooon Pamela. I think you meant zh:颱風柏美娜 (1972年). Ta Kung Pao is marginally reliable. It is CCP's mouthpiece and you should treat it like WP:CHINADAILY. No comment on Hong Kong Commercial Daily's reliability. I believe you can find all the referenced newspapers in the Old HK Newspapers archive. The references do state the page number in the newspaper. For example, I was able to find reference #15 ("下午三時改掛七號風球後...") in Ta Kung Pao at the quoted page number and date. International Defense Review (May 1989, p. 687) and Revista Força Aérea 84 (2013)

[edit]

Hello,

I am researching the Brazilian BAPI anti-runway bomb for an English Wikipedia draft and would appreciate help obtaining two specific published sources:

1. International Defense Review, vol. 22, no. 5, May 1989, printed page 687. ISSN 0020-6512. The annual index lists “Brazilian runway-busting bomb” with the reference “5/687”. I need page 687 and any continuation of that article, including its title and author. I have not yet established whether it concerns BAPI or another Brazilian weapon.

Issue record: https://archive.org/details/sim_janes-international-defense-review-idr_1989_22_5

Library holdings: https://ci.nii.ac.jp/ncid/AA00233831

2. Leandro Casella, “Bom e Feito em Casa! — Armamento Aerotransportado Made in Brazil”, Revista Força Aérea, no. 84, October 2013. The page range is unknown to me. Could someone with access check whether it discusses BAPI and identify the relevant pages? If it does, I would appreciate access to those pages through a permitted private-sharing or library route.

Publisher’s listing: https://forcaaerea.com.br/edicao/rfa-84-pdf/

I tried purchasing the publisher’s PDF from Serbia, but checkout requires a Brazilian CPF. I have contacted the publisher and am awaiting a response.

I am requesting only the relevant articles/pages, not complete books or magazine issues. Thank you for any assistance.

For Draft:BAPI – Runway denial bomb

Thanks --Kadzo (talk) 13:51, 5 September 2026 (UTC)reply

Additional request for anyone following this thread: the International Defense Review page has now been obtained, while the request concerning Revista Força Aérea no. 84 remains open. I would also welcome pointers to other independent published sources that discuss the Brazilian BAPI anti-runway bomb in some detail, such as specialist magazine or newspaper articles, books, or historical studies. Material on its development, the organisations involved, production, deliveries, or service history would be particularly helpful, as would an explicit published explanation of any relationship with AV-BP-250. Sources in any language would be welcome.

The references already collected can be found in Draft:BAPI – Runway denial bomb, so I am mainly looking for additional material rather than duplicates. Bibliographic details and relevant page numbers would be useful even if a source is offline or behind a paywall. Where permitted, access to the relevant published pages through a library or private sharing would also be greatly appreciated; I am not requesting complete books or magazine issues. Thank you for any further leads. Thanks --Kadzo (talk) 17:22, 5 September 2026 (UTC)reply

@Kadzo:: an alternative to buying from the editor KHR FolkMyth (talk) 14:34, 5 September 2026 (UTC)reply
@Kadzo Sent the first request. Ping me or reply for any additional requests or concerns. RFNirmala (talk) 14:45, 5 September 2026 (UTC)reply
@RFNirmala: Thank you very much, RFNirmala. I have downloaded and read the scan of page 687. It explicitly discusses BAPI, so the first part of my request has been fulfilled. This is a genuinely useful source.
The second request, concerning Leandro Casella’s article in Revista Força Aérea no. 84 (October 2013), remains open. If you have access to that issue, could you check whether the article mentions BAPI and identify the relevant pages?
The IDR article identifies Bernardini as the developer in collaboration with the Brazilian technical centre. If you happen to know another published article or reference-work entry under “BAPI” or “Bernardini”, a bibliographic pointer would also be greatly appreciated.
Thank you again for your help. --Kadzo (talk) 15:53, 5 September 2026 (UTC)reply
@KHR FolkMyth: Thank you, KHR FolkMyth, for finding this alternative listing.
I am in Serbia and could not complete the publisher’s PDF checkout because it requires a Brazilian CPF. Do you happen to know whether the seller offers a digital edition or a purchase option for overseas customers?
If not, a pointer to someone who owns issue 84 and could check whether Casella’s article discusses BAPI would also help. I would first like to establish which pages are relevant before arranging legal access.
Many thanks. --Kadzo (talk) 15:53, 5 September 2026 (UTC)reply
@Kadzo:: If you check the photos in the e-commerce page, you can see the pagination. KHR FolkMyth (talk) 16:14, 5 September 2026 (UTC)reply
@KHR FolkMyth: Thank you for pointing this out. Unfortunately, Mercado Livre is preventing me from accessing the listing: during account verification, it displayed an attempt-limit message and told me to wait 24 hours.
Could you please check the listing photographs and tell me the starting page of Leandro Casella’s “Bom e Feito em Casa! — Armamento Aerotransportado Made in Brazil”? If the contents page gives a page range, that would also be very helpful. Alternatively, a readable image of the contents page, where sharing is permitted, would help me identify the pages to request through a library. Many thanks! --Kadzo (talk) 17:39, 5 September 2026 (UTC)reply
@Kadzo:: Ah, okay. pp. 28ff KHR FolkMyth (talk) 17:47, 5 September 2026 (UTC)reply
@KHR FolkMyth: Thank you very much — the contents photograph is helpful. It confirms that “Bom e Feito em Casa! — Armamento Aerotransportado Made in Brazil” begins on page 28. The next listed article starts on page 38, although the exact ending page of Casella’s article is not yet confirmed.
Do you happen to have access to the article itself, or only to the listing photographs? If you can access the text, could you please check whether it discusses the Brazilian BAPI (“bomba antipista” or “bomba anti-pista”) and identify the relevant pages? Access to those pages through a permitted sharing or library route would be greatly appreciated. If you only have the listing photographs, no problem — confirming the starting page already helps.
If you also happen to know of another independent published article, book, or reference-work entry discussing BAPI in some detail, a bibliographic pointer would be very welcome. The sources already collected are listed in Draft:BAPI – Runway denial bomb.
Thank you again for your help! --Kadzo (talk) 18:31, 5 September 2026 (UTC)reply
Unfortunately, I do not have the full issue. KHR FolkMyth (talk) 18:53, 5 September 2026 (UTC)reply
@KHR FolkMyth: Thank you for clarifying, and for finding the contents photograph.
One specific question about the listing: does the seller’s photo gallery show any pages from “Bom e Feito em Casa!”, beginning on page 28, or only the cover and contents? If any article pages are visible, a direct image link would be helpful, since Mercado Livre is still blocking my access.
If there are no article photographs, no problem — knowing the starting page already helps with the library request. Thank you again! --Kadzo (talk) 19:30, 5 September 2026 (UTC)reply
@Kadzo:: Yes, it does! KHR FolkMyth (talk) 21:21, 5 September 2026 (UTC)reply
@KHR FolkMyth: Thank you again — the photograph clearly shows the opening page of Leandro Casella’s article, on page 28.
Could I ask for one final check of the seller’s photo gallery? We still need the continuation after page 28. The next article listed in the contents begins on page 38, so pages 29–37 are the remaining pages to check, although the exact ending page of Casella’s article is not yet confirmed.
If the gallery includes any of those pages, could you please share the direct image links, as you did for page 28? Even one or two additional readable pages could help establish whether the article discusses BAPI (“bomba antipista” or “bomba anti-pista”) and identify the relevant pages.
I understand that you do not have the full issue. If the continuation is not in the gallery, but you happen to know a library or another permitted route through which those pages could be obtained, a pointer would also be greatly appreciated. If only page 28 is available to you, no problem — that photograph has already helped us confirm the article’s author and starting page.
Many thanks for your time and help. --Kadzo (talk) 23:33, 5 September 2026 (UTC)reply

Bukittinggi 1968-1971 (for Indonesian Wikipedia article) in collections.yale?

[edit]

For id:Tugu Pahlawan Tak Dikenal and other articles concerning historical monuments, buildings, and sites in Bukittinggi.

I am looking for access to pages 12–44 and 361–376 of this book, particularly the sections containing information about id:Tugu Pahlawan Tak Dikenal, tugu, monumen, and other historical monuments or sites in Bukittinggi. The book is searchable on Google Books, but the full text is not available for public viewing. I found that the book is available in a library collection and is listed in the Yale University Library LUX Collections: Yale LUX.

If possible, I would appreciate the relevant page numbers and limited excerpts concerning these topics. PS: I am a contributor to Indonesian Wikipedia with a particular focus on the history of Indonesia, especially historical buildings, monuments, and other heritage sites and objects. I am currently developing articles on historical sites and monuments in Bukittinggi and would like to use this book as a source for these articles.

@Magherbin For the Latin version, please see https://mdz-nbn-resolving.de/urn:nbn:de:bvb:12-bsb10219209-9. – Concerning the translation: a 32 page typoscript available at only one library worldwide ? I am wondering how reliable that work might be. Tricky anyway, as accessibility is restricted to usage inside the Giessen university library. FordPrefect42 (talk) 05:50, 9 September 2026 (UTC)reply
@Magherbin: I see, the English translation has been extended by a list of the kings . SOAS University of London is holding a copy in the estate of George Wynn Brereton Huntingford under a slightly abridged title: https://archives.soas.ac.uk/records/PP_MS_17/05/16. FordPrefect42 (talk) 10:18, 9 September 2026 (UTC)reply
Google searches brought up that a kings list existed specifically however someone with a copy they found at Rimbaud's House & Museum in Harar stated there was no list, its likely the London copy alone has it. Maqrizi's work is heavily cited hence its reliable but the English translation is not popular usually academics just cite the direct Arabic primary source. Magherbin (talk) 02:38, 10 September 2026 (UTC)reply
@Magherbin: according to the catalogue entries, the Giessen copy has 32 pp., the London copy 33 pp. I don't know whether the one page makes the difference. If you are interested in the kings list alone, may I suggest that you contact SOAS archives directly? FordPrefect42 (talk) 05:42, 10 September 2026 (UTC)reply

Help with Polish newspaper articles from 1989

[edit]

I'm seeking help on the following two newspaper articles from October & November 1989 that have been posted on Facebook. They are, I believe, from one or two Polish newspaper(s), and I'm looking for any more bibliographic information, in particular the specific newspaper(s) and original page numbers, and, for the second one, details of the author. The pen name is KAJ, but that is not, I think, Kazimierz Andrzej Jaworski.

  • Pamięci Kazimierza Ecksteina, labelled Źródło [Source]: KAJ,11.89.,JK.t.6.s.16, from November 1989, author J. Kamiński
  • Uczczono pamięć prof. Ecksteina, labelled Źródło [Source]: KAJ, Uczczono pamięć prof. Ecksteina, 18.10.1989., from 18 October 1989.

Dear colleagues,

Unfortunately, the list has become rather long – there are now almost 60 newspaper articles. I realize that this is quite a lot of work, so please excuse me for putting so much on your plate.

If you nevertheless have the opportunity to research the articles one by one over time, I would be very grateful. There is absolutely no urgency; working through them over the coming weeks or months would be perfectly fine.

The article in question concerns Troy and is to be improved. In the early 2000s, there was an extensive debate, particularly in the media, between the excavator Manfred O. Korfmann and Frank Kolb, who passed away recently. I may also create a separate article specifically on this subject.

You can reach me at michelnadinevalerie<at>gmail.com. Thanks, Rubbbbby (talk) 16:46, 16 September 2026 (UTC)reply

@WhisperToMe: Sorry, the library I worked with on #1 was unable to locate the article as described. I don't know what they tried, whether there is a page 205, and if so what is on it. They suggested researching whether the bibliographic information is correct. A volunteer with physical access to the magazine might have better luck. --Worldbruce (talk) 00:31, 30 September 2026 (UTC)reply
@Worldbruce: Thanks for letting me know! I checked Google Books and it says: The Junior Bookshelf - Volumes 49-50 - Page 205 : "Spring in the Dark Wood illustrated by Kazuo Iwamura Eric , Derek and Daisy[...]". I'm wondering if a physical copy needs to be located. WhisperToMe (talk) 01:21, 30 September 2026 (UTC)reply
Google Books is great, but any or all of its metadata can be wrong. On , click the gear-shaped settings button in the upper right. Choose "Contact us about Books". Fill in the form, choosing the "other" radio button. In the "How can we help you box", ask for complete bibliographic information so that you can order the article from a librarian. Which of the two volumes is the page in? What issue is it in? Is there a page number on the page? [205 may be a number generated by the Google scanning process, with no relationship to how the publisher numbered it.] What sort of piece does the text "Spring in the Dark Wood" appear in, a book review, an advertisement, ...? If it is a review, what page does it start on, what is the title of the review, and who is the author? Doing this only works half the time, but it could be an immense help to anyone else trying to find it. --Worldbruce (talk) 18:17, 2 October 2026 (UTC)reply

Three book reviews regarding Yiddish

For Kazuo Ueda (linguist), also would be interested if Ueda is mentioned in other parts of the Kotlerman book, particularly the review of "Bibliography of Japanese Publications on Jews and Israel, 1989-2004, by Masanori Miyazawa (Hisao Takagi, English)" (maybe I should actually just request that as well, can't find more info), and "The Birobidzhan Project from the Japanese perspective by Chizuka Takao".

Be sure you're checking the email account that you have enabled on Wikipedia, and not any other email you may use. Check your spam folder, your "all" inbox (if your email provider filters your inbox into focused or priority messages, and everything else, as some do), and anyplace else where a message might have gone. Wait a few hours, in case somewhere along the way emails with attachments are being slowed down (although these are fairly small). For Sinodendron rugosum. I'm checking the size, sexual dimorphism, horn and pitting claims, what the chapter says about the antennal club (the article's "unopposable" is tagged {{clarify}}), and whether horn combat is described for S. rugosum specifically or for stag beetles generally.

Insects of the Pacific Northwest (2006), rugose stag beetle entry

[edit]

For Sinodendron rugosum. I'd like the entry for Sinodendron rugosum (rugose stag beetle). I don't know the page, as search inside is disabled on Google Books. It's cited without page numbers for the physical description and for adults being found on the ground from spring to early summer (both tagged {{page needed}}), and any description of the larvae would also help.

Steve-O's homelessness before, during Season 1 of his show Playboy interview

[edit]

Playboy article[1] For Steve-O. I would love to have more specific timing on Steve-O's homelessness via original interview. I was made aware of Steve-O's homelessness in the midst of the show production in the year 2000 by churnalism[2] on People.com

Some articles about Beetles

[edit]

Hello all, user User:ARandomName123 have helped me out a couple of times some months ago, and I asked her/him for a couple more, but I have not gotten a response yet, so I thought the user might have become inactive (if not: sorry for my impatience ARandomName123). Anyway, thought to give it a shot here in hopes anyone can help me out getting access to the articles listed below. If so: thanks a lot in advance!

I am also looking for this one, but it does not seem to be available online anywhere:

@GoMSTL Can you tell us which one you have access to, so that others are not duplicating the same work? OhanaUnitedTalk page 16:11, 2 October 2026 (UTC)reply
@B33tleMania12: #1 is available through WP:TWL in the Wiley collection here. #5 is free from the publisher here. --Worldbruce (talk) 16:34, 2 October 2026 (UTC)reply
The link to #5 is not the article I am looking for.. The link is for The New World species of Ataenius HAROLD, 1867. VIII. Revision of the A. scutellaris-group and diagnosis of the A. texanus-carinator group with descriptions of new species (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Aphodiinae: Eupariini). I am looking for part I. And yeah, #1 is in on Wiley, but I have tried a number of times, but can't access it.. Maybe it is not part of the deal with WikiLibrary? I have had some other articles on Wiley I could not access via WikiLibrary.. B33tleMania12 (talk) 17:23, 2 October 2026 (UTC)reply
@B33tleMania12 #1 is open access from Google Scholar in Canada so here's the link.. I have requested library scans for #2 to #4. OhanaUnitedTalk page 05:34, 3 October 2026 (UTC)reply
I have access to sources #3 and #4, but I am fine with it as OhanaUnited has already requested for a library scan for #2 to #4. Thank you. GoMSTL (talk) 07:31, 3 October 2026 (UTC)reply

Edited to add: ProQuest on the Wikipedia Library has excerpts but not the full text and I can't find it on Newsbank through the National Library of Australia (which does have, for instance, the Chicago Sun Times). Newspapers.com probably has it. The Courier Press's own search page seems fairly broken. Graham87 (talk) 15:26, 3 October 2026 (UTC)reply

Marquis Who's Who

[edit]

Please send me the text of the entry for "Jones, Anthony Edward" in Marquis Who's Who, again for the article Tony Jones (arts administrator). It seems to be scraped at Prabook, but no way is that a good source directly. I'm particularly interested in the 1960s and 1970s bits because they handily fill in some dates and gaps (and most of the rest I've confirmed elsewhere), including in sources I haven't gotten around to adding to the article yet). Using the tips at Wikipedia:WikiProject Resource Exchange/Resource Request/Archive 157 § Who's Who entry of Roger Fabian Wedgwood Pease, I managed to find this from the Internet Archive, but I can't figure out how to extract the text to read with my screen reader.
