The women's sabre category B event at the 2024 Summer Paralympics was held on 3 September 2024 at the Grand Palais in Paris, France.[1]
Saysunee Jana of Thailand won the gold medal, defeating Xiao Rong of China 15–14 in the final; it was her third Paralympic gold medal and seventh Paralympic medal overall.[2] Olena Fedota of Ukraine won the bronze medal after defeating Ao Lanzhu of China 15–3 in the bronze medal bout.[3]
Format
[edit]The competition was held as a direct elimination tournament with repechage. Bouts were fenced to 15 hits or a maximum of three periods of three minutes.[3]
