| Question: Should the lead of George Kurtz include a sentence about the 2024 CrowdStrike-related IT outage, or should coverage of that event be limited to the Career section?
Background: The lead currently states: "In 2024, CrowdStrike released a software update that disrupted millions of Microsoft Windows systems around the world, an event that has been called the largest outage in the history of information technology." This sentence has been discussed above at #2024 outage in the intro? and as you can see there are differing views on whether it belongs in the lead. This RfC is to get broader input. | Should the July 23, 2026 Upper West Side stabbing of a Jewish congregant be included in this list if the entry uses carefully attributed language and reports that authorities charged the assault as a hate crime?
The incident received independent coverage describing the stabbing as apparently antisemitic, and prosecutors brought hate-crime charges. One editor contends that inclusion in this list would nevertheless state an unproven motive in Wikipedia’s voice and violate WP:BLP and WP:OR. Other editors contend that inclusion would reflect the reliable-source characterization rather than an editorial inference. | Should we refer to her as Alice throughout the page instead of "Princess Andrew", which is repetitive and unnecessary? Most royal pages refer to them by their first given name, such as Philip, Elizabeth, William, and Harry etc.
