The anecdote about the sailor tossing the actuated flare back into the flare locker and dogging the hatch doesn't appear in the cited article? also the link for that citation redirected to a camgirl site so i fixed it for now (unsure if flickr is a reliable platform for archive sources tho) Sylveona824 (talk) 00:18, 27 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Sylveona824 hey, I did end up finding some evidence for this anecdote from reliable sources, but nothing I would consider definitive.
