Flightradar24.com → Flightradar24 – I think name Flightradar24 (clear name, without domain name) is better. See inscription on their logo, and interwiki items for article in other languages. --Relisted. Armbrust The Homunculus 10:42, 25 March 2014 (UTC) XXN (talk) 00:57, 18 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

SkyCards game

[edit]

Flightradar24 published a mobile game called SkyCards in late 2024 - is that relevant to the article, can I add that? Snowiiiiie (talk) 16:11, 21 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Sorry I've only now checked the talk page. I included Skycards now, did the same on dewp, sorry, didn't want to take your idea away! AsepTisch (talk) 19:59, 4 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
No, this doesn't belong; especially as is. It's not notable and sourced to Flightradar's blog. And, way too large, so it's also WP:UNDUE. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 22:54, 4 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
The question was here for almost 3 months, not spoken against to? I miscalculated the length given the length of the whole article, I can see that. Since this is not my homewiki I will not make another try. AsepTisch (talk) 06:05, 5 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
Ahh hi, I also just got back here! I've added it as one short sentence, I think that's a good compromise. I think it's of similar importance as the santa tracker (gimmicky, but the gimmickiness also illustrates the character of the website, doesn't it). You're right @AsepTisch, @Jauerback had enough time to just answer no :) Snowiiiiie (talk) 13:53, 16 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
And, I've removed it again. This is nothing but a promtional piece for this game, even it's just mentioned as it's sourced to FlightRadar's blog. If you can find it in a reliable source, then we can consider adding it. Finally, there's no deadline or even a requirement to respond to any talk page question. Unless a specific user is pinged, it's not like every message on an article talk page even gets seen, so the expectation of "enough time" is ridiculous. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 14:34, 16 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
That is fair! In the name of consistency, I've removed the other promo piece sourced to the blog as well. Snowiiiiie (talk) 07:31, 17 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
Awesome. Thanks! Jauerbackdude?/dude. 13:10, 17 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Need new heading for significantly tracked flights

[edit]

They are currently under history, which it doesn't really fit under. Avdan747 (talk) 23:22, 7 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

ADS-B 2019 Statistic

[edit]

The statement that 60% of planes in the US have ADS-B is probably outdated. As of 2020, ADS-B is required for operations in class B, C, or D airspace. This includes all commercial airports, so it's unavoidable for airliners. Also most small planes have ADS-B or UAT. Let's see if we can find a more recent source or copy something from the articles on ADS-B and UAT. I will check the FAR/AIM when time allows. ~2026-34192-32 (talk) 00:48, 10 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
