@MRSC, UPDATED When lines are selected as style2 it retains blue font - do we either go blue background all together or somehow add an 'if' statement? Smithr32 (talk) 23:12, 22 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Is there a way to keep consistent with the other systems and use colour-on-white?
Helps with legibility, including the various network symbols which don't really work on a dark background. Not desperate to keep the line colours. Might be a bit too much going on visually. MRSC (talk) 03:48, 23 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Love your renders on your sandbox @MRSC, my initial design was based of existing station design having the station name on the TfL blue and seeing what's possible on Infobox NYC 🗽

Seems the doc is cached on the sandbox template page, I've tried purging but it's still not updating to live sandbox doc. Smithr32 (talk) 10:40, 25 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for this. 2a is the winner. Versions 1a and 1b are unusable on accessibility grounds. Version 2b will conflict with railsymbols. MRSC (talk) 13:25, 25 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Is it worth adding roundel red in some capacity or keep it TfL blue? 🤔
One of the advantages of using the London Underground blue is that it is also the Transport for London blue, so works for interchanges where there are multiple TfL services, not just the Underground. Red is associated with London Buses. MRSC (talk) 17:08, 27 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Over-colouring is distracting and could lead to WP:ACCESSIBILITY nonconformance. Version 2a is the only one I'd support for this change. The colour should a neutral grey; or TfL blue, as MRSC advises above. Bazza7 (talk) 08:51, 28 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Propose to change the fallback to TfL or something generic. Wirral is nowhere near London - not sure why this was chosen as the fallback Smithr32 (talk) 15:19, 29 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
