RfC: Flag or logo?

Should this file, and any versions that appear after this file (like an SVG, GIF or JPEG), be the flag, or the logo of the N.F.-Board? wikipedia-kxeon  mailbox 02:15, 4 June 2025 (UTC)

@Kxeon: Your question has no context - it is totally opaque what problem you are trying to solve. Also, I don't see any indication that WP:RFCBEFORE has been tried, let alone exhausted. Further: why is this a matter for WP:RFC in any case? --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 20:21, 5 June 2025 (UTC)

Look up in the source code of this page and you'll see a commented out attempted discussion starter (I commented it out when I did a RfC. In WikiProject Football's talk page I attempted to get a response from them; but I got nothing. Maybe due to my own failure to word the question properly? And yet...

Maybe there were different implications for using the flag or the logo. Maybe they're the same legally. But it just seemed, like it may cause a dispute, if this were to be changed, or vectorised, into the logo instead of the flag, anyway. Thus, an RfC seemed like my best bet. Hopefully; this wasn't absolutely and completely nonsensical; and hopefully, this didn't waste your time.

Please do not waste volunteers' time. We shouldn't need to open up other parts of the page source in order to find commented-out text that you didn't tell us about. Commenting out content normally means that it should be disregarded/ignored.

In future, if you ever feel that you want to start another RfC, read WP:RFCST carefully, including point number 1 in that section. RfC is not a first step in discussion - it is an instrument of last resort.

If this is a discussion about the use of this image in one specific article, this should occur at the talk page of that article. If it concerns several articles, do so at WT:FOOTY. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 21:23, 5 June 2025 (UTC)

With the RfC being made, I thought that it may be a better idea to comment the previous attempt out, with one on the exact same topic being made just one down with no responders to the aforementioned attempt. Mistakes have indeed been made. Sorry. (but, I did attempt to read it before this point. looks like I followed it properly (unless im illiterate and missed something); except for wasting your time accidentally. for some reason i didn't think to go to the N.F.-Board's talk page. now then, if this still results in nothing; then by that point it might just make sense to just do it already; if nobody objects.) wikipedia-kxeon  mailbox 22:32, 5 June 2025 (UTC)
