You are currently viewing the requests for decrease in protection level subpage of Wikipedia:Requests for page protection. Before posting a request for unprotection, please discuss it with the protecting administrator first. You can create a request below if you receive no response from them. Instructions To find out which administrator protected the page, go to the page's edit history and click on the "View logs for this page" link (located underneath the page's title). The protecting administrator is listed in the protection log entry, next to the words "protected", "changed protection level", or "configured pending changes". If there are a large number of log entries on the page, use the drop-down menu near the top of the page and select "Protection log" or "Pending changes log" to filter the logs accordingly. Unprotection: TRYUNPROT, only 8 edits since indef protection in 2024, I think this would be okay to trial unprotect. Toketaa^talk 14:54, 23 September 2026 (UTC)

(Non-administrator comment) That could well mean semi-protection is doing its job. The associated talk page has seen several instances of juvenile disruption since protection, presumably from kids who would otherwise have vandalized the article itself, suggesting there is still a risk of problems returning. This is not a low-traffic page (average of 464 daily views over the past month) and it cannot be confirmed that there are a reasonable number of watchers. Enter the page name into pageviews.wmcloud.org and a graph will appear showing page views, along with a daily average for any time period that you can specify on the website. Entranced98 (talk) 15:22, 23 September 2026 (UTC)

Note: The page was not protected due to vandalism. It was protected due to extensive, long-term, and severe BLP violations, including some by an editor claiming to be the subject.
