TezJet Airlines (Kongo: «ТЕЗ ДЖЕТ» Жоопкерчилиги чектелген коому) [4] is a Kyrgyz company which formerly operated as an airline, headquartered in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic. It operated scheduled flights throughout the Kyrgyz Republic, Uzbekistan and India.
It was founded on 23 April 2013, and began operations in August 2014 after receiving its first aircraft (a BAe 146 with registration EX-27002 from Avia Traffic Company). The airline's main hub is located at Manas International Airport. The fleet consists of two BAe 146 aircraft and two McDonnell Douglas MD-83 aircraft.[5][6][7]
History
[edit]The company was founded on April 23, 2013. TezJet began scheduled passenger operations in August 2014 after receiving its first BAe 146 aircraft.
In September 2024, the airline opened its first international scheduled route, linking Bishkek and Tashkent (Uzbekistan). [8]
End of operations
[edit]On July 10, 2026, the State Agency for Civil Aviation of Kyrgyzstan revoked TezJet's Air operator's certificate following an inspection of its activities.[9]
Destinations
[edit]TezJet Airlines flew to destinations throughout Kyrgyzstan, the Dlehi (India) and Tashkent (Uzbekistan).[10] [11][12]

Accidents and incidents
[edit]- 7th July 2026 – Tezjet Airlines Flight 9117, a Mcdonnell Douglas MD-83 registered as EX80003, its landing gear collapsed while taking off at Bishkek's Manas Airport. The crew immediately aborted the takeoff and the aircraft was evacuated shortly after. The aircraft thankfully did not catch fire. None of the 187 crew and passengers died, but several were injured. The Aircraft’s left wing and back tail cone suffered substantial damage.
