Replace with ~

I feel as if this template would be more useful if was repalced with ~ as the template seams to be used infrequently and I think replacing it with this would make it more useful. —  BrandonXLF   (t@lk) (ping back) 03:47, 20 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

~ as abbreviation for approximately where space is tight

I think {{~}} should produce a ~ and a foot?note or ~ to say this means approximately for situations like tables where c. may not be clear and space is too limited for approx. It is a widely used mathematical symbol for approximately but perhaps some non mathematicians will not be aware of this.
