I guess it's the characters in my username combined with URL encode? The {{Edit count link|-αβοοδ}} template you're calling works fine: Edit count
I used subst: to just figure out what it was trying to do and just used the fixed output directly. {{userbox-level|id=[[Laziness|lazy]]|info=This user is too lazy to count up <span class="plainlinks">[https://xtools.wmcloud.org/ec/en.wikipedia.org/-%CE%B1%CE%B2%CE%BF%CE%BF%CE%B4 his own edits]</span>.}} displays fine.
