Date format
[edit]Per MOS:DATE, date formats should be dmy or mdy as appropriate with the month spelled out (e.g. "31 December 2015"). The "big-endian" ISO 8601 (yyyy-mm-dd) should be used "only where brevity is helpful", but in the context of {{Infobox German state}} at least, there is plenty of space to expand to the version with the month spelled out. Very few people use ISO dates in practice, and in particular in an encyclopedia for general readership I think it's inappropriate. Hairy Dude (talk) 13:22, 27 January 2017 (UTC)

- If you're looking for data (area, population, identification number) for one specific municipality, you can use https://www.statistikportal.de/de/produkte/gemeindeverzeichnis. If you're looking for more data on the municipal level, for instance the areas of all municipalities of Bavaria or Brandenburg, you can use https://www.regionalstatistik.de/genesis/online/. Something out of step?
[edit]Various articles (eg Ahrensfelde) are showing Text "https://www.statistik-berlin-brandenburg.de/publikationen/Stat_Berichte/2019/SB_A01-07-00_2018m12_BB.xlsx" ignored (help); Missing or empty |url= (help). It is clearly something in this template, but I'm not sure what: it looks as if it is interpreting the URL as the text, but I don't know why.
