Branding
[edit]I hope you don't mind, but I added an entry for station branding. In my opinion, stations are more likely to change the slogan more often than the on-air branding. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pentawing (talk • contribs) 19 January 2006
Are totally the wrong articles to link to - completely out-of-context. Analog television and digital terrestrial television are the suitable target articles, which I'm going to change the template to using. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kiand (talk • contribs) 4 January 2006
Recommending "Sister Stations" Entry
[edit]May I suggest that an entry for sister stations be added to this Infobox? This would come in handy for a station that is part of a duopoly or LMA (such as WNYW and WWOR in the New York City market), or to show the relationship between TV and radio stations under the same ownership in the same city (such as WTMJ-TV with WTMJ-AM and WKTI-FM in Milwaukee). The Radio Station Infobox already has a "Sister Stations" entry, so adding one to this Infobox would be complimentary. Thanks in advance.
Possibly adding the NavHide feature onto the infobox...
[edit]Is there a chance of adding the NavHide codes onto the layout and if so how will it be done??? WIKIVUE Detroit (talk) MON SEP 03 2007 11:20 PM EDT

I would suggest removing subchannels from the template as most articles don't use that and use the affiliations section. OWaunTon (talk) 23:58, 21 June 2026 (UTC)
Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before posting an edit request. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 04:07, 22 June 2026 (UTC)- @OWaunTon It's used in over 100 pages, including some where I would not want to use
|affiliations=such as Kentucky Educational Television and Mexican stations where there is no affiliation and the content on all subchannels is company-owned like XEPM-TDT. Just because US stations don't use a parameter doesn't mean it doesn't have value in configuration osf a template designed to serve a number of countries.
