Including template space may not be the best idea
[edit]When template space is included, testing on /testcases pages can result in pages being including in maintenance categories. This is usually a bad idea, especially if categories have been deleted or no longer exist. This is happening right now with Template:Infobox speed skater/sandbox, which I will sync with the live template. – Jonesey95 (talk) 16:28, 10 July 2026 (UTC)

- Good to know. Since that is the case, do not use this template to wrap elements that output maintenance categories. Editors are welcome to use it to wrap error messages, but polluting maintenance categories with template-space pages that have deliberate errors for demonstration purposes is undesirable.
