Use
[edit]I am struggling to understand the use of this template within an article. I understand the <dfn> element and how it works. Some examples:
- Horus Heresy: {{dfn|style=font-style:italic;|1=xenos}} → xenos
- Horus Heresy (novels): [[wikt:anathema|{{dfn|style=font-style:italic;|1=Anathema}}]] → Anathema
- William A. Spinks: {{strong|{{dfn|William Alexander Spinks, Jr.}}}} → William Alexander Spinks, Jr.
- Scottish Sub Aqua Club: {{dfn|Sports Diver}} → Sports Diver

[edit]When used by itself, its most common purpose would be around a term boldfaced and immediately defined there such as a key piece of terminology introduced after the lead section.
I think that according to MOS:NOBOLD this should read italicized instead of boldfaced. Dingolover6969 (talk) 11:43, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
