See also Template:Nist (for the NIST Chemistry WebBook), and Template:NIST-PD for anything from NIST.

domain name

[edit]

At the moment, in *every* article on Wikipedia that uses this template, when I click on that link in that article I get sent to the "www.fastar.org" domain name, which gives me a "Page not found" error.

I'm going to change this to use the "www.nist.gov" domain name, as recommended by the "Cite this as" recommendations at the bottom of every page in that dictionary, even though those links actually redirect to a "xlinux.nist.gov" domain name.

Even if the "www.fastar.org" domain name actually worked, I think it's preferable to use the link recommended by the authors, because it is more likely to be a permalink. --DavidCary (talk) 16:04, 28 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
