Departing from suggested citation

@Headbomb: Your latest edits are moving this template away from the citation format suggested by Calflora. Could we make it closer to their recommendation? I'm not sure where to put the link to their main page, given that |via= is not allowed to have an external link. — hike395 (talk) 13:04, 20 March 2022 (UTC)

A suggestion is just a suggestion. It's not mandatory, nor do we have to follow it. CS1 has its own style. We already provide the URL, we don't have to repeat it. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 15:55, 20 March 2022 (UTC)
