Official name changes

[edit]

I intend on moving all of the articles of the villages in this municipality to their Macedonian names since those appear to have become official recently (, , , ). Additionally, it seems these names are also the WP:commonname ones as well. --Local hero talk 02:40, 29 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Pustec Municipality without merging other pre-2015 municipalities?

[edit]

How come Pustec Municipality was the only post-2015 municipality that survived the 2015 Albanian local government reform without merging other pre-2015 municipalities? I believe that being "coterminous" as its own and only "administrative unit" (or municipal unit) within itself hurts it a bit, while other post-2015 municipalities have at least at least upto two administrative units as a bare minimum. jlog3000 (talk) 17:40, 12 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

To maintain its unique demographic profile within Albania. --Local hero talk 04:03, 14 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
How is being coextensive being unique? It's like having one local government area/unit to only consist of just one populated place, and that one being only its downtown centre, without any additional settlements or localities outside of its borders. Help me make it make sense, I dare anyone. jlog3000 (talk) 05:16, 14 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
I don't understand the purpose of the discussion. If there was a reorganization of municipal divisions in Albania and Pustec was unaffected, it is likely because it's the only municipality populated entirely by the Macedonian minority. Merging it with other municipalities would make it no longer so. --Local hero talk 17:19, 14 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
