Name of the Distillery

[edit]

In https://harrisdistillery.com/?srsltid=AfmBOopiOxIj4WYvLUjFyyYq9fe8O9-x1hAZuJeMhbtSRPqzT61-Rlgg the name is "Isle of Harris Distillery " here it is only "Harris Distillery" What ist correct? Should it better be copied to Isle of Harris Distillery? Elrond (talk) 16:55, 1 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Good observation. Looking at their website and official company name, I would support renaming as Isle of Harris distillery. Coldupnorth (talk) 10:45, 2 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Architect

[edit]

Glane23, the reference you rescued was a primary source. On that basis I removed that architect and the source. The remaining architect relies on the visitouterhebrides source.

Examining the sources, a third firm of architects (John Renshaw Architects) get a mention in respect of the (proposed) extension in the "Isle of Harris Distillery submit plans for expansion" source. At which point I think - Who, in the history of whisky, ever took a sip and thought, I wonder which architect designed the distillery? Do we need any architects in the article at all? Ping Hengrwt who has also edited today. Cabayi (talk) 17:07, 4 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Assuming that we can identify who the architect was, I would have thought that that information is within the scope of the article. Hengrwt (talk) 17:21, 4 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Cabayi: No problemo! Me, I've wondered if, when the angels took their share, they left us the better part. Geoff | Who, me? 18:51, 4 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
