Inadequate beginning history section

[edit]

The history section here only begins in 1843, as do both linked articles. It is standard Wikipedia convention for places this notable to go back to the earliest records of settlement. The opening line doesn't even mention who the treaty was between, just "several Native American tribes". See the history sections/pages of New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Little Rock as nearby better examples.

The point about the tribes is a fair criticism, but I'm not sure the best way to list them, either. The text of the treaty said "Republic of Texas Treaty with the Indigenous Nations of the Delaware, Chickasaw, Waco, Tawakani, Keechi, Caddo, Anadahkah, Ionie, Biloxi, and Cherokee." Some of these tribes are now known by different names. In any case, the page for the Treaty of Bird's Fort includes that text from the treaty, so perhaps that detail isn't needed here.Edwards809 (talk) 03:57, 19 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Enclaved municipalities

[edit]

Is there any way that someone can edit the map outlined so that it shows all the enclaved cities within Fort Worth? NintendoTTTEfan2005 (talk) 01:31, 14 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Picture

[edit]

Can we update the picture to the one I had previously? It shows more of the scope of Fort Worth and the skyline is much more beautiful. The Safety Kingpin (talk) 06:19, 13 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Could we update the picture so it's not a parking lot? There are many updated photos that look more 4k that other cities use. (Would benefit the wiki community and bothers me tbh) The Safety Kingpin (talk) 02:02, 5 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Presidential election results in Fort Worth

[edit]

This infobox seems to have poorly sourced data. I could not find the 2024 data in the source given, nor could I find pre-2012 data. From my own quick and dirty calculation, I'd have Trump winning in Fort Worth 194k to 192k but that's including precincts that extend partially out of Fort Worth proper and I can't find official data that's more granular so I doubt what's currently written on the page.
