Deadmau5 Capitalization

@GoingBatty and Lustiger seth: per this move discussion, deadmau5 is to be capitalized across this project. It seems that consensus is skewing towards respecting stylisms lately though, and some cases seem unclear when pursuing policy adherence. @GoatLordServant: The capitalization for this musician doesn't matter to me. I regularly look at Category:Pages which use a template in place of a magic word, noticed that @Lustiger seth added {{DISPLAYTITLE|deadmau5}}, and changed it to {{DISPLAYTITLE:deadmau5}}. Raised for charity

Video game appearance and personal life

So I just want to quickly talk about two things on here about deadmau5

1. He makes a video game appearance in "Goat Simulator" as a parody called "deadgoa7" as a DJ on the roof of one the buildings within a map and as a cosmetic item.

2. He's stated publicly that he was supposed to be on Spanair 5022 that crashed back in 2008 but he didn't board. I'm sure I saw it somewhere on the page once but it might have been removed.

I seem to recall Goat Simulator was on here at one point, but I'm headed out for the evening and cannae be arsed to go through more than the last 50 diffs. I think the Spanair thing is trivia and doesn't need to be on the page.Primefac (talk) 23:09, 29 July 2026 (UTC)
