Hee's been placed under Category:Analytic philosophers . Any citation backing this? FatalSubjectivities (talk) 19:10, 22 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Article structure

[edit]

I've flattened out the article some so that a "Philosophy" top-level header doesn't comprise most of the article's content, but I'm unsure what to do with the connective material between his contributions to specific fields. Remsense诉 07:42, 9 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

It's a shame to see what has been done to this article

[edit]

I was the main editor of the Charles Sanders Peirce article starting around 2008 for 5 or 10 years. Disappointed now to find the disarrangement and reduction of the accounts of his ideas, among other things. The Tetrast (talk) 19:06, 17 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Good place to put a section on his Philosophy of Mathematics in this article?

[edit]

I'm currently reading about Pierce's Philosophy of Mathematics, and I am pretty interested in adding a section about it here. However, I am conflicted on exactly where to place this section in the article without it being visibly out-of-place. Therefore, where's a good place to mention it in this very article? PicoMath (talk) 01:53, 1 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

For now, however, I am just going to put this under "as a philosopher", as the logic section doesn't seem to fit. PicoMath (talk) 02:05, 1 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Philosophy section

[edit]

Everything is a mess, most of the things in mathematics section should be placed under philosophy, I guess Phil of Math can be placed under math but the other topics should not be ~2026-48303-81 (talk) 12:28, 6 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
