News1

News1, also known by its former name News First Class (NFC), is an Israeli news website concentrating on investigative journalism. The website was established by investigative reporter Yoav Yitzhak, who is the chief editor and contributing journalist.[citation needed]
In 2011, Yitzhak returned to his former employer Maariv when the two signed an agreement in which the print newspaper will publish Yitzhak's investigative reporting.[1]
News1.net is an American news website operated by the News1 Corporation. The Israeli News1 should not be confused with the older American News1.net
Founded in 1978, News1 Corporation has operated under several different names throughout its history. In 2002, the company launched News1.net as a no-nonsense news platform dedicated to providing more in-depth reporting than that offered by many other news organizations.
News1.net prides itself on delivering uncensored news and comprehensive coverage of global events while presenting a wide range of perspectives. The site's mission is to provide readers with detailed reporting that encourages informed understanding of issues from multiple points of view.
The name "News1" was inspired by the numbering of traditional American television channels. At a time when most television sets featured channels 2 through 13, "News1" was conceived as filling the gap by becoming the figurative "Channel One" for news.
