Md. Nazrul Islam Chowdhury (1 February 1952 – 13 July 2026) was a Bangladeshi Awami League politician who was a onetime member of the Jatiya Sangsad, representing the Chittagong-14 constituency.
Early life
[edit]Chowdhury was born on 1 February 1952. He had a B.A. degree.[1]
Career
[edit]Chowdhury was elected to parliament from Chittagong-14 on 5 January 2014 as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate. He was a member of parliamentary standing committee for the Ministry of Jute and Textiles and the Ministry of Labour and Employment.[2] He was a parliamentary standing committee member for the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism in the 10th parliament.[3]
Death
[edit]Chowdhury died from cancer on 13 July 2026 at the age of 74.[4]
