This version is more clear (and possibly easier to understand for non-native English speakers), and doesn't seem to present any downsides. FaviFake (talk) 16:11, 24 July 2025 (UTC)
Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{Edit template-protected}}template. I disagree that the proposed version is clearer. Establishing consensus for rephrasing

Redirect in Module:Submit an edit request/config
[edit]Should Template:Edit protected/editintro be replaced with its target Template:Edit fully-protected/editintro in Module:Submit an edit request/config? It will make it more clear (for whoever reads the URLs with &editintro=Template%3AEdit+protected%2Feditintro in it, for example) and also more consistent with other protection levels. —andrybak (talk) 12:14, 26 October 2025 (UTC)

In Module:Submit an edit request/config, please change editintro = 'Template:Edit protected/editintro', to editintro = 'Template:Edit fully-protected/editintro', for clarity and consistency.
