Str Sub Old vs Str Sub New

Scribunto errors

The current template can cause some Lua errors in Scribunto. I added some testcases to demonstrate the issues. To that end, I developed Module:Str rightc to rectify the issues and then modified the sandbox to use this new Scribunto module so that the testcases now also show that the sandbox does not have these issues but generates the same output, except in the failing cases of course. Please update this template to the contents of the sandbox to deploy the new Scribunto module and fix these corner case issues. Thank you, —Uzume (talk) 11:51, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
