Not done: I see no reference at that discussion to "India location map 3.png" and no clear consensus that a change is required. It seems a commons discussion, commons:Commons:Deletion requests/File:India Bhutan Locator.png, which legal participated in, failed. I see no clear consensus anywhere suggesting we should make a change. Suggest starting an RfC on changing the maps somewhere, and then reopening this request once that's closed. Incorrect Map of India
[edit]The current map of India does not adhere to the official Government of India map. The official map as published by Survey Of India on behalf of Government of India can be found at https://surveyofindia.gov.in/UserFiles/files/POLMAP_ENGLISH-2026.pdf. Hence, the maps needs to be corrected immediately in line with Political map of India. Arms8586 (talk) 19:46, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
