Abbreviations
[edit]This template spells out the English units and abbreviates the metric ones. Why? Why not treat them the same? Just abbreviate everything, this is best in tables. JIMp talk·cont 04:38, 5 September 2011 (UTC)
- SI units do not use abbreviations, they use symbols. Since English and U.S. conventional units do not have symbols, they are spelled out. Better late than never. Yours aye, Buaidh 21:02, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
Subroutines
[edit]I have moved the templates {{moft}}, {{ftom}}, {{kmomi}} and {{miokm}} into the subspace of this template as they are subroutines of this template. JIMp talk·cont 05:58, 5 September 2011 (UTC)
- Only {{moft}} had been used directly and only on one page. It has been replaced. JIMp talk·cont 23:42, 5 September 2011 (UTC)
