Tooltips for W, L, and T abbreviations
[edit]Currently, the Check winner by scores module outputs the letters W, L, and T to indicate Win, Loss, and Tie, respectively. However, these letters appear without any tooltips or explanations.
Because of this, some readers might not immediately understand what W, L, or T stand for when viewing the results.
Adding tooltips, for example, using the existing {{Tooltip}} template (like {{Tooltip|W|Won}}, which renders as W), would improve clarity and usability by showing a helpful hover text explaining each abbreviation.
It is currently unclear if the module can be modified to include such tooltips directly. If anyone with Lua or MediaWiki template expertise can confirm the possibility or suggest improvements, that input would be greatly appreciated. Abhiramakella (talk) 22:46, 20 July 2025 (UTC)
