Machchangolhi (Dhivehi: މައްޗަންގޮޅީ), also known as Machangolhi, is a district of Malé, Maldives.[2][3]
Geography and Urban Landscape
[edit]Machangolhi is characterized by its high population density and tightly packed grid of residential and commercial buildings. The district is bounded by Maafannu to the west and Galolhu to the east. The northern tip of the district reaches near the historic Sultan Park, a prominent green space in the city. The southern boundary of Machangolhi extends toward the island's southern waterfront and harbor area.
Facilities and Infrastructure

Notably, the southern section of Machangolhi features significant recreational and sports infrastructure, including the Rasmee Dhandu Stadium (National Football Stadium) complex, which includes an athletic track and open-air sports courts. The district's proximity to the southern coastline provides direct access to the city's maritime transport networks and harbor facilities.
