Łabunie

Łabunie ([waˈbuɲɛ]) is a village in Zamość County, Lublin Voivodeship, in southeastern Poland.^[1] It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Łabunie.

History

Nine Polish citizens were murdered by Nazi Germany in the village during World War II.^[2]

The landmarks of Łabunie are the Baroque Zamoyski Palace complex with an adjacent park, and the Our Lady of the Scapular church.

The local football club is Sparta Łabunie.^[3] It competes in the lower leagues.
