The 2026 Tallahassee mayoral election took place on August 18, 2026, to elect the mayor of Tallahassee, Florida. As no candidate received a majority of the vote, a runoff election will take place November 3.[1] Incumbent mayor John E. Dailey, who was first elected in 2018, has announced he will not seek re-election.

Forums
[edit]A candidate forum was held by the Tallahassee African American Local Election Review Team on March 6, 2026. Foust, Matlow and Parks attended, with Ausley unable to do so due to other commitments.[13]
Another candidate forum was held on June 23, 2026. The forum was livestreamed on WFSU and was held by the Tallahassee Democrat, the Capital Region News Collaborative, and the League of Women Voters. All candidates attended. [14]
