Coremiocnemis valida (also known as Coremiocnemis validus)[2]:56, commonly known as the Singapore tarantula, is a species of tarantula found in tropical forests in Southeast Asia.[3]:208 It is known to create burrows underground.[2]:59–60

Covalitoxin-II was originally isolated from C. valida.[3]:218
