Structure and design
[edit]The bridge has undergone structural reinforcement to address erosion and improve safety.[4] Flood-resistant embankments were added during recent strengthening works.[4]
Connectivity and importance
[edit]The bridge serves as a key route for access to the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, especially during the annual Vaikunta Ekadasi festival.[2] It is listed in the District Disaster Management Plan as part of the flood evacuation infrastructure.[5]
