Bad Breisig (German: [baːt ˈbʁaɪzɪç] ⓘ) is a town in the district of Ahrweiler, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated on the Rhine, approx. 15 km south-east of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler.
Bad Breisig is the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Bad Breisig.

- Klaus Badelt (born 1967), a German composer, who specializes in television and soundtrack.

- The religious scholar and sociologist Oliver Krüger (born 1973) grew up in Bad Breisig.

[edit]Bad Breisig station is located at the Linke Rheinstrecke and served by lines RE5 (Koblenz Hbf - Wesel), RB26 (Mainz Hbf - Köln Messe/Deutz) and RB32 (Koblenz Hbf - Ahrbrück). Bad Breisig is located in the area of the transport association Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Mosel (VRM), fare zone number 808.
